
UditVani, Jamshedpur: The Jamshedpur Super League (JSL) is set to roll into Matchday 24 on Friday at the Tinplate Stadium, with an action-packed schedule across youth categories highlighting the city’s thriving grassroots football ecosystem.
The day will feature 26 matches in total, including 10 fixtures in the Under-13 category and 16 in the Under-15 category, as young footballers continue their competitive journey in the league.
In the Under-13 division, Kishore Sangh Kadma U13 currently sit atop the standings with 24 points from eight matches, having secured seven victories.
Close on their heels are Undefeatable FC with 21 points and Gyan Ganga Patamda Blue with 20 points, setting the stage for an intense battle at the top as the league progresses into a crucial phase.
The Under-15 category has been equally competitive. Dhatkidih Lion Heart lead the table with an impressive nine wins from 10 matches, while unbeaten Dobo FC remain strong contenders with eight wins and two draws. YHNAC Sonari are also firmly in the race, keeping the title contest wide open ahead of the latest round of fixtures.
Women’s League action will follow on Saturday at the Tata Football Academy (TFA), with the remaining matches scheduled for Sunday at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, ensuring a weekend filled with football across age groups and venues.
Organised with the objective of strengthening grassroots football in the city, the Jamshedpur Super League has emerged as a vital platform for structured competition, talent development, and match exposure for young players.
With participation from schools, academies, and community teams, the league continues to play a significant role in shaping the future of football in Jamshedpur.
The junior categories have also delivered standout performances this season. Biswajit Manimela FC have dominated the Under-9 and Under-7 divisions, leading the Under-9 table with 28 points from 10 matches and maintaining a perfect record of seven wins from seven games in Under-7. In the Under-5 category, Amrit Sporting have matched that flawless run with seven wins from seven matches, while Sparkle Squad lead the Girls Division with 28 points from 11 matches, closely followed by Unstoppable FC White and Trouble Marker.
