UditVani, Jamshedpur : The Jamshedpur Super League (JSL) returned to action with a thrilling display of youth football, as the Under-13 and Under-15 divisions kicked off another exciting edition at the Tinplate Sports Complex on Friday. The opening day produced a mix of dominant victories, close contests, and goalless stalemates, underlining the growing depth of Jamshedpur’s grassroots football ecosystem.
In the Under-13 category, Undefeatable FC set the tone with a commanding 5–0 win over Jamshedpur Strikers U13. JMFA Strikers FC followed suit, hammering JFC Furnace Blue 6–1. Armoury Kings and Loyola Heros also secured solid 3–0 wins against Dhatkidih Football Coaching and Tinplate Rainbows, respectively. Three fixtures ended in draws — Tinplate Lions 0–0 Gyan Ganga Patamda (Red), Tata Power ALT 0–0 Tinplate Cobra Crew, and JFC Furnace Green 1–1 JFC Furnace Yellow — reflecting competitive parity across the young sides.
The Under-15 matches featured equally explosive action, with two sides recording seven-goal triumphs. Adityapur Community–Red swept past Telco FC Green 7–0, while Tata Power ALT replicated the scoreline against S.M Lucky. Armoury Strom Strikers registered a clinical 3–0 win over Junior Tiger Telco, and Kishore Sangh Kadma–U15 overwhelmed LFS Loyola U-15 by the same margin. Four games, including Park India vs JFC Turf Kings and Gyan Ganga Patamda Blue vs Hala Madrid, ended goalless after intense end-to-end play.
Recognised as India’s largest and most inclusive grassroots football movement, the JSL now involves over 2,000 participants across divisions for children, mothers, fathers, veterans, coaches, girls, and transgender players. With its six-month calendar and city-wide participation, the league continues to nurture young talent while uniting the Jamshedpur football community through sport.
