UditVani, Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur once again proved why it stands among the country’s emerging centres of youth leadership, as six remarkable students brought laurels to the city with their exceptional performance at the Young India Parliament (YIP) Nationals.
At the forefront of this achievement was Subhranshu Mallick, who earned the prestigious Best Parliamentarian Award for his outstanding presentation of a thoughtfully crafted and well-argued Bill.
His sharp understanding of democratic processes, clarity in articulation, and confident command over legislative procedure made his Bill presentation one of the finest at the national event.
Judges praised his balanced perspective, strong research base, and his ability to defend his proposal with poise.

Adding further pride to Jamshedpur’s accomplishments, Rishabh Mukherjee of KPS Kadma received the Best Parliamentarian – Special Mention Award.
His performance reflected a mature grasp of national issues, articulate debating, and impeccable parliamentary conduct.
Rishabh’s ability to respond to challenging questions with clarity and confidence secured him admiration from judges and fellow delegates alike.
Along with these two standout achievers, four more students from Jamshedpur – Armaan Pratap Singh, Sanjeet Bajaj, Prem Ruparel and Yashika Sharma – delivered notable performances at the YIP Nationals.
Their contributions—ranging from high-scoring interventions during committee proceedings to special acknowledgments for research, diplomacy, and presentation—highlighted the growing intellectual strength and political awareness among the city’s youth.

Collectively, the six students demonstrated depth of knowledge, leadership potential, and an inspiring understanding of democratic responsibility.
Teachers, mentors, and school authorities applauded the students for their dedication and preparation, noting that Jamshedpur’s strong culture of debate, current affairs engagement, and value-based education has played a crucial role in nurturing such promising young minds.
The city’s stellar showing at the Young India Parliament Nationals is not just a collection of awards, but a testament to the rising civic awareness and commitment to public discourse among its students.
Their achievements have elevated Jamshedpur’s stature on a national platform and set new benchmarks for aspiring young parliamentarians in the years to come.
With their accomplishments, these six students have demonstrated that the future of informed, responsible, and articulate leadership is in capable hands.
Notably, around 4000 students from different places across the country took part in the initial regional rounds.
Out of which 125 students were selected from 40 cities for national round held in New Delhi.
