UditVani, Jamshedpur : The Vanvasi Kalyan Kendra, Jamshedpur Mahanagar organized a grand workers’ meet and reconstitution of the Metropolitan Working Committee at Tulsi Bhavan, Bistupur.
The program commenced with floral tributes to ‘Bharat Mata’, Bhagwan Birsa Munda, and Balasaheb Deshpande, followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by regional organization secretary Prafulla Akant, state president Sudan Munda, state vice-president Rajendra Kumar Jhunjhunwala, state general secretary Dhananjay Singh, and state organizational secretary Sushil Marandi.
The event began on a melodious note with a welcome song performed by the sisters of Saraswati Shishu/Vidya Mandir, Baharagora, captivating everyone present.
During the session, state president Sudan Munda announced the new Jamshedpur Mahanagar Working Committee, while General Secretary Dhananjay Singh presented the official proposal of the Vanvasi Kalyan Kendra.
Vice – president Rajendra Jhunjhunwala delivered a detailed report on the metropolitan unit’s activities.
In his address, senior functionary Prafulla Akant shared insights on the inception, ongoing activities, and future plans of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, emphasizing its mission of service and social upliftment.
The event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries including State Urban Working Chief Pradeep Kumar Mahato, Kolhan Organization Secretary Pramoth Nath, District Organization Secretary Ghanshyam Rajwar, Dr. Pushkar Bala, Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Amitabh Senapati, along with newly appointed office bearers and dozens of dedicated workers of Jamshedpur Mahanagar.
