
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Jamshedpur FC is set to open its Durand Cup 2025 campaign with a Group ‘C’ clash against Nepal’s Tribhuvan Army Football Team on July 24 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.
The match marks the start of the 132nd edition of Asia’s oldest football tournament, and Jamshedpur FC will enjoy home advantage throughout the group stage.
The players are expected to arrive in Jamshedpur shortly to begin training and acclimatize to local conditions.

The coaching staff sees the Durand Cup as a key pre-season platform — not only to assess fitness levels and test tactical combinations but also to offer vital match exposure to both senior players and promising young talent.
Jamshedpur FC will face a challenging lineup in the group stage. Following their opener against Tribhuvan Army FT, they will take on the seasoned Indian Army FT on July 29. The final group encounter is scheduled for August 8 against debutants Ladakh FC.
