UditVani, Jamshedpur : Jamshedpur FC have strengthened their attacking ranks by signing 26-year-old winger Rosenberg Gabriel from I-League side Sreenidi Deccan FC ahead of the 2025–26 season.
The Mumbai-born attacker joins the Men of Steel after two standout seasons in the I-League, where he established himself as one of the competition’s most creative and consistent performers.
Gabriel brings Head Coach Steven Dias additional options and flexibility on both flanks. Known for his electric pace, incisive dribbling, and accurate crosses into the box, he has made 61 league appearances, contributing 8 goals and 8 assists during his time with Sreenidi Deccan.
Having honed his skills with Mumbai Customs and Air India in the MFA Elite Division, Gabriel earned his spot at Sreenidi Deccan through open trials in 2021. He quickly rose through the ranks, making 11 appearances in the club’s debut I-League season. In 2022–23, he emerged as one of the league’s leading assist providers, showcasing his creativity and tireless work rate.
A versatile wide player, Gabriel can operate effectively on either flank. Speaking about his move, he said, “This is a huge step in my career, and I’m very excited to wear the Jamshedpur FC colours. The club has a great culture, passionate fans, and a clear vision for developing young players. I want to contribute with my pace, creativity, and hard work to help the team achieve success this season.”
Welcoming the addition, Head Coach Steven Dias said, “Rosenberg is an energetic and fearless winger who can change the tempo of the game with his speed and direct approach. He gives us more attacking depth and the flexibility to play in different systems. I’m looking forward to working with him and seeing how he develops with the team.”
Jamshedpur FC will kick off their campaign against FC Goa on October 26, followed by matches against North East United FC on October 29 and Inter Kashi on November 1 in the Group B fixtures to be played in Goa.
