UditVani, Jamshedpur : As Jamshedpur FC gear up for the upcoming Indian Super League season, midfielder Pronay Halder has underlined the squad’s positive mindset and commitment under head coach Owen Coyle, stating that the players are fully focused on the present and giving their all in training.
With senior football set to resume after a period of uncertainty, Pronay said the team has moved forward with clarity and purpose.
“Whatever uncertainty there was is now behind us. Our full focus is on what lies ahead. We are working hard every day, mentally preparing ourselves for the ISL, and the atmosphere in the group is very positive,” he said.
Highlighting the intensity of the ongoing training camp, the experienced midfielder noted that the squad has responded well to the coaching staff’s demands.
“Training sessions have been high-intensity from day one. We are following the coach’s instructions closely and pushing ourselves to improve each day. Everyone is fully switched on.”
Reflecting on last season’s semi-final finish, Pronay made it clear that the team’s ambitions are higher this time.
“Reaching the semifinals last season showed our character, but we know we can do better. This season, the aim is to be more consistent and push ourselves to achieve new heights.”
Emphasising professionalism, he added that challenges are part of a footballer’s journey and the team’s response has been encouraging.
Pronay also urged supporters to turn out in large numbers for home matches.
