UditVani, Jamshedpur : The RPF flying squad of Chakradharpur division on Friday morning arrested a youth involved in stealing a mobile phone at Tatanagar railway station.
The accused, identified as Rahul Kumar Sinha of Premnagar (Telco), was caught during intensified patrol after a passenger reported the theft.
The team recovered a stolen Nokia handset from his possession. During questioning, he admitted to the crime and was handed over to the GRP Tatanagar for further action.
Railway authorities have tightened security amid festive rush, with RPF maintaining continuous surveillance to curb thefts and ensure passenger safety.
