
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Jamshedpur Citizens Forum (JCF), a non-political organisation fostering collaboration between citizens, corporates and government, honoured distinguished contributors from the corporate and social sectors for their exemplary service to society.
Under its prestigious Corporate Purush Award, JCF has traditionally recognised senior corporate leaders and MSME promoters for their contributions to production, productivity, marketing and corporate social responsibility.
Past awardees include stalwarts such as H.M. Nerurkar, T.V. Narendran and D.B. Sundara Ramam of Tata Steel.
For the year 2024–25, the forum honoured Rajiv Mangal, Vice President, Safety, Health & Sustainability, Tata Steel, and Dipankar Dasgupta, Executive In-Charge, IBMD, Tata Steel, from the corporate sector, along with Vikash Singh, noted social leader, community builder and philanthropist.
The awards were presented by D.B. Sundara Ramam, Vice President Corporate Services, Tata Steel, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. A.K. Srivastava, President, JCF, presented the citations and trophies, highlighting the forum’s commitment to recognising unsung heroes who selflessly serve society.
Rajiv Mangal dedicated the honour to his team at Tata Steel’s Project Aalingana, Dipankar Dasgupta spoke on Tata Steel’s vision of circular economy through Project Arunank, while Vikash Singh said the recognition would inspire greater community participation rooted in the spirit of seva.
The programme was conducted by Sanjeev Raman, Joint General Secretary, JCF, with the vote of thanks delivered by Arvind Kumar, General Secretary.
The event witnessed participation from corporate leaders, senior citizens, industry bodies and prominent citizens of Jamshedpur.
