UditVani, Jamshedpur: In a grand tribute marking Founders’ Day, a spectacular floral portrait of Ratan Tata will be installed in front of the statue of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata at Jubilee Park on March 3.
The special installation forms part of the 187th birth anniversary celebrations of Jamsetji Tata, the founder of Tata Steel and the city of Jamshedpur.
The vertical portrait, measuring an impressive 18 feet by 22 feet, will be crafted using nearly one lakh fresh flowers, making it the centrepiece of this year’s ceremony.
The artwork is being designed by a local artist from Jamshedpur.
This floral tribute has been conceived in honour of former Tata Sons Chairman Ratan Tata, who passed away on October 9, 2024.
His enduring legacy and contribution to the Tata Group continue to inspire millions across the country.
Last Year’s Rangoli, This Year’s Vertical Masterpiece
RK Singh, General Manager of Tata Steel UISL, informed that while a massive floral rangoli was created last year, this year the organisers have opted for a striking vertical portrait to offer a fresh and visually captivating experience.
187th Birth Anniversary Celebration on March 3
The 187th birth anniversary of Jamsetji Tata (March 3, 1839 – May 19, 1904) will be celebrated in the Steel City with great enthusiasm.
This year’s Founders’ Day theme, “One Vision, One Tata Steel,” underscores unity and integration within the organisation.
The floral portrait of Ratan Tata, set against the historic backdrop of Jamsetji Tata’s statue, is expected to be one of the most memorable highlights of the celebration.
