Jamshedpur : The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) is set to announce the Class X (Matric) examination results on Tuesday, May 27.
According to official sources, the results will be declared at 11am by the Jharkhand Education Minister, Ramdas Soren, in a press conference. The information was confirmed through a statement issued by the JAC Secretary.
This year, over 4 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 board exams, which were held across various centres in the state from February 11 to March 4.
The exams were conducted under strict guidelines and with enhanced security measures to prevent malpractices.
In a significant development, the results for the Class 12 (Intermediate) board examinations are also expected to be released alongside the Matric results. If released together, this would streamline the process for students and educational institutions planning admissions for higher studies.
Students who appeared for the exams can check their results online through the official websites:
To check the result, students will need to enter their roll code and roll number as mentioned on their admit cards. The online mark sheets will be provisional, and original mark sheets will be distributed by the respective schools in the following weeks.
Preparations Underway for Admission Season
With the results being announced, various universities and colleges in Jharkhand, including prominent institutions like Srinath University in Jamshedpur, are preparing to open their admissions for undergraduate programs. Officials expect a surge in applications, especially in fields like engineering, medical sciences, commerce, and arts.
Support for Students
JAC has also set up a helpdesk and issued contact details on its website to assist students facing technical issues while accessing their results. Counseling facilities are also expected to be made available for students needing academic guidance or emotional support post-results.
Past Performance and Expectations
In 2024, the overall pass percentage for the Class X exam was around 92.5%. With increased digital learning support and improved infrastructure, educators are hopeful for even better performance this year.
