UditVani, Jamshedpur : The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi successfully concluded the 5th batch of its Nurturing Future Leadership Program under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP) of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The five-day residential program, held from September 15 to 19 witnessed the participation of 44 educators from across the country.
IIM Ranchi Director, Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, thanked the Ministry of Education for the initiative and noted, “Thirty hours are not sufficient to understand a vast subject like leadership and management education, but the effective and useful knowledge imparted in this short span will enrich the teachers with experience and guide them to become better leaders.”
Programme directors, Prof. Manish Bansal and Prof. Kushagra Sharan, outlined the program’s four guiding pillars — ecosystem building, in-depth subject knowledge, proactive contribution, and capability assessment — encouraging participants to internalize these principles.
During the valedictory session, Prof. Amit Sachan, Dean – Executive Education & Consultancy, emphasized the importance of sharing experiences and carrying forward the learnings, while highlighting the role of such initiatives in motivating teachers to build leadership qualities and strengthen institutions.
All participants were awarded certificates of appreciation at the conclusion.
IIM Ranchi also announced that the 6th batch of the program will be conducted from November 10 to 14, 2025.
