Jamshedpur : Loyola School Telco recently hosted a vibrant celebration of oratory and linguistic talent through its annual Hindi Elocution and Intra-Class Hindi Choral Recitation Competitions for the academic year 2025-2026.
The event aimed to foster a love for the Hindi language while honing the public speaking and creative expression skills of its students.
The Hindi Elocution Competition featured diverse categories such as Storytelling, Humorous and Heroic Poetry, Speeches on Great Personalities, Declamation, and Extempore.
With four finalists in each category, students delivered passionate and eloquent performances, impressing both peers and judges.
A panel of esteemed teachers—Laxmi, Dipti, and Kanchan—evaluated the participants on content, delivery, and expression, ensuring a fair and enriching competition.
Adding to the excitement, the Intra-Class Hindi Choral Recitation Competition titled “Little Voices, Big Dreams” brought the youngest members of the Loyola family—UKG to Std III—into the spotlight.
Their delightful performances were met with enthusiasm and praise from judges Kanchan Tirkey, Soni, and Dipti Surin, who commended the children’s confidence and expression.
The school was honored by the presence of Principal Charanjeet Ohson, Administrator Father Gerry D’Souza, and Senior Coordinator Reshma Rodrigues, along with the dedicated Hindi department staff.
Their encouragement and support created a warm and inspiring environment for all participants.
Winners of the Elocution Competition included Akshita Agarwal, Samiksha Pandey, Raghav Agarwal, Eliana Jasmine Soren, Aarav Sinha, Upasana Ghosh, Aastha Kumari Saw, Akansha Lakshmi, Kavish, Aadya Das, Ansh & Shreya Sahu, Abhijeet Kumar Singh, Neha Rani Sahu, Ayesha Saini, Harshit Kumar, Suhmita Pal, Prajjwal Prasad, Ritika Gorai, Arpita, Yashasvi, and Azka Asiya Ali—each recognized for their outstanding performances.
In her closing remarks, Principal Ohson expressed pride in the students’ achievements and thanked the faculty for their unwavering commitment.
Father Gerry also lauded the event as a testament to Loyola School’s dedication to nurturing young voices and promoting cultural and linguistic heritage.
