
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has personally taken charge of the upcoming Ghatshila by-election, signaling its high political significance for the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM).
In a crucial meeting held in Ranchi, Soren convened all MLAs from the Kolhan division to chalk out the party’s strategy for the by-election.
Sources said the discussions focused on booth-level coordination, voter outreach, and strengthening the organizational structure ahead of the polls.
The Chief Minister directed party leaders to intensify grassroots campaigns and maintain strong communication with local voters.
He also emphasized the need for unity and disciplined campaigning to ensure a decisive victory for the JMM candidate.
The Ghatshila seat has become a prestige battle for both the ruling alliance and the opposition BJP, with both camps preparing for a fierce contest.
