Jamshedpur : Shambhu Lohar (25), who was injured in a firing incident on Monday night at Prakash Nagar in Garabasa under Govindpur police station, died at Tata Motors Hospital.
The father of the deceased has accused his brother’s hand in the murder.
The bullet was shot while he was sleeping
Shambhu Lohar was sleeping in a semi -built room on the first floor of his house at around 9 pm on Monday night, when the criminals shot at him.
The bullet hit his chest, causing serious injuries . After the incident, the family rushed him to Tata Motors Hospital , where he died on Tuesday during the course of treatment.
Shambhu Lohar originally hailed from Seraikela and there is a possibility of mutual rivalry with one of his relatives Balram.
On getting information of the incident, Govindpur police reached the spot and started investigation. The police have recovered the weapons used in the murder, but the accused was still absconding.
Police are continuously carrying out raids to arrest the accused. The body has been sent for postmortem.
