UditVani, Jamshedpur : The South Eastern Railway has announced the permanent diversion of Train Nos. 15022/15021 Gorakhpur–Shalimar–Gorakhpur Express.
The revised route and schedule will come into effect from August 24 for train no. 15022 (Gorakhpur–Shalimar) and August 26, for train no. 15021 (Shalimar–Gorakhpur).
Under the new timetable, the train will operate via Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Gaya, Koderma, Gomoh, and Tatanagar, bypassing its earlier route. The updated timings for both directions are as follows:
Train No. 15022 – Gorakhpur to Shalimar (Effective August 24, 2025):
Departs Gorakhpur: 11:00 AM
Major halts:
* Deoria Sadar: 12:00 PM / 12:05 PM
* Varanasi: 6:15 PM / 6:25 PM
* Gaya: 11:40 PM / 11:45 PM
* Tatanagar: 6:35 AM / 6:45 AM
Arrives Shalimar: 10:05 AM next day
Train No. 15021 – Shalimar to Gorakhpur (Effective August 26, 2025):
Departs Shalimar: 7:55 PM
Major halts:
* Tatanagar: 11:25 PM / 11:35 PM
* Gaya: 7:00 AM / 7:05 AM
* Varanasi: 11:45 AM / 11:55 AM
* Deoria Sadar: 5:50 PM / 5:55 PM
Arrives Gorakhpur: 7:45 PM same day
