
UditVani, Jamshedpur: The Friends of Tribal Society (FTS), Jamshedpur Chapter, organised a special meeting and interaction session at Hotel Novanta in Adityapur last evening.
The programme was graced by chief guest Tribhuvan Kabra, Executive Chairman of RR Kabel Group, along with FTS National President Ramesh Dharnidharaka.
A large number of members, donors, volunteers and dignitaries participated in the event.
The session opened with a welcome address by Chapter President Rajesh Mittal, followed by smooth event coordination by Abhishek Garg.
Senior office-bearers, including women’s committee secretary Priyanka Agarwal, and other representatives , were also present.
Women’s committee representatives outlined their initiatives in health, sanitation, value education, rural women’s empowerment, village contact drives, digital learning support, library establishment and the Yashoda Abhiyan.
Addressing the gathering, chief guest Tribhuvan Kabra highlighted that the real strength of the organisation lies in its volunteers, workers and committed donors.
He informed that FTS currently operates nearly 92,000 Ekal Vidyalayas across India, benefiting around 25 lakh children by providing basic education and cultural values.
He emphasised that education in remote tribal regions is not only a service activity but a vital nation-building mission.
Kabra shared FTS’s goal to expand its reach to more than 1 lakh village schools in the coming years and praised the consistent dedication of all chapters, especially the Jamshedpur Chapter, for its disciplined and impactful work.

He urged members and donors to strengthen their contribution across the four pillars — knowledge, time, resources and service — so that sustainable change can be brought to the lives of rural and tribal children.
National President Ramesh Dharnidharaka congratulated the Jamshedpur team for its continuous efforts and reiterated the need for collective commitment to developmental activities.
The meeting also featured discussions on key subjects such as school network expansion, digital innovation, outcome-based monitoring, youth leadership strengthening and rural empowerment strategies.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks extended to all guests, members, donors and volunteers for their participation and support.
