UditVani, Jamshedpur: The first anniversary of the ongoing renovation of the Shri Laxminarayan Temple (commonly known as Birla Mandir) will be observed with great spiritual fervor on July 7.
The temple, located at the Cable Township area in Golmuri, Jamshedpur, has been undergoing restoration, and it was exactly a year ago on this date that the consecration (Pran Pratishtha) ceremony of Shri Laxminarayan and other deities was performed.
On this auspicious occasion, the Shri Laxminarayan Temple Renovation Trust, under the leadership of Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy, has planned a full-day program of Vedic rituals and spiritual recitations.
According to an official release following a review meeting, special worship will be offered to all the deities whose idols were consecrated last year—namely, Maa Kali, Lord Shiva, Hanumanji, and Lord Ganesha, along with Shri Laxminarayan.
Key highlights of the day’s spiritual proceedings include:
* Durga Saptashati recitation in front of Maa Kali’s idol.
* Rudrabhishek at the Shivling of Lord Shiva.
* Vishnu Sahasranama chanting before the idol of Shri Laxminarayan.
* Panchmukhi Hanumat Koti Stotra in front of Hanumanji’s idol.
* Chanting of Ganesh mantras and shlokas before Lord Ganesha.
The temple premises will remain immersed in a devotional atmosphere throughout the day.
Following the rituals, bhog and prasad will be distributed in the evening to all devotees.
The meeting to finalize the arrangements was attended by Ashok Goyal, Saket Gautam, Ashim Pathak, Munna Singh, Vinod Pandey, Ajay Tiwari, Rakesh Ojha, and others.
