Jamshedpur : City SP Kumar Shivashish has exposed the firing incident that took place on April 1 in Azadnagar police station area with the intent to kill Mohammad Karim.
In a press conference today, he informed that Mohammad Imran, alias Vicky, a resident of Chepapul in Azadnagar, has been arrested along with a weapon.
Accused Was Trying to Flee City
According to the police, they received information that Imran was planning to flee the city. Acting on this tip-off, a police team reached Tamolia More and apprehended him. When Imran saw the police, he tried to escape, but the team acted swiftly and caught him. Following his arrest, police recovered a firearm and a used cartridge based on his confession.

The successful operation was carried out under the leadership of Patamda DSP Bachandev Kujur, Azadnagar Police Station in-charge Chandan Kumar, SI Manish Kumar Rai, SI Pawan Kumar, Srikant Kumar, ASI Amit Kumar Hembram, constable Chandrashekhar Rai, constable Ram Kishore, and home guard Prabhu Kumar, among others.
Police are continuing their investigation and making efforts to arrest other suspects involved in the case.
