Jamshedpur: Tapan Kumar Ghosh, a 74-year-old resident of Promoth Nagar in Parsudih, has been missing since around 8.30 am on Thursday.
He resides in the Bank of India Flats. According to his family, he went out for his regular morning walk but has not returned since then.
His family is worried about his well-being. Ghosh is elderly and suffers from certain health issues, which has further heightened concerns for his safety. Despite extensive efforts by the family to locate him, no clues have surfaced so far.
A missing person report has been filed at the Parsudih police station. The family has also provided a recent photograph of Ghosh to assist in identification. The police have registered the case and have initiated a search operation.
