
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Dry weather conditions prevailed across Jharkhand during the past 24 hours, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The highest maximum temperature of 33.4°C was recorded at Chaibasa (PTO), making it the hottest place in the state.
Meanwhile, the lowest minimum temperature of 8.0°C was reported at Gumla (AWS).
In Ranchi, the maximum temperature settled at 27.8°C, while the minimum temperature dropped to 10.3°C.
Jamshedpur recorded a maximum of 31.4°C and a minimum of 13.4°C. No rainfall was recorded anywhere in the state during the period.
Synoptic Situation
The IMD stated that an induced upper air cyclonic circulation over Punjab and adjoining areas persists and extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.
Additionally, a Western Disturbance in the form of a cyclonic circulation lies over southeast Pakistan and adjoining areas, extending up to 7.6 km above mean sea level and tilting northwestwards with height.
However, despite these systems, weather across Jharkhand remained dry.
