UditVani, Jamshedpur : A transformative session on “Simplifying Digital Implantology GBR: Science, Strategy & Execution” was held on July 20, under the aegis of ZimVie Institute in collaboration with the Indian Dental Association (IDA).

The program featured two highly esteemed mentors — Dr. Richa Angik, MDS, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, and Dr. Kunal Banka, BDS, PhD, Implantologist.
Together, they delivered an in-depth, practice-oriented curriculum designed to bolster the clinical acumen of attendees.
Dr. Richa Angik kicked off the session by decoding the intricacies of immediate implant placement — from single-tooth to full-mouth prosthetic planning and execution.
With over 15 years of specialization and academic leadership roles across India, Dr. Angik’s contribution to the field continues to inspire budding oral surgeons.
Following this, Dr. Kunal Banka presented a comprehensive exploration into Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR), a crucial area in implantology.
Attendees gained clarity on managing grafts, bone defects, and achieving long-term implant success using digital tools. With over 17 years of clinical and teaching experience, Dr. Banka’s guidance proved invaluable to all in attendance.
