UditVani, Jamshedpur : The Dramatics Club of DBMS English School presented “Theatrics 2025” on Friday, featuring an English play titled “The Day the Internet Died” and a Hindi play “Gen Z”. Students from Standards VII to XI participated in the performances, which explored contemporary youth issues with creativity and depth.
The English play examined the pervasive influence of the internet on modern lives, stressing its role as a useful tool when used moderately rather than as an unhealthy dependency. Judges Ms. Nandini Mehta and Mrs. Uma Vaidya evaluated the segment. The Hindi play offered insights into Gen Z’s ambitious yet complex world across three acts: glamour-driven decisions, the pitfalls of social media reels, and family pressures stifling dreams.
Ms. Dharma Patnaik and Mr. Dhiraj Ranjan judged the Hindi production. The event captivated audiences with its thoughtful themes and strong performances.
