Jamshedpur : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accompanied by his wife and MLA Kalpana Soren, visited the ancestral residence of late Jharkhand movement activist and social worker Kapoor Kumar Tudu (popularly known as Kapoor Baghi Ji) in Chilgu-Chakulia, Chandil, Seraikela-Kharsawan district.
The Chief Minister offered floral tributes to the departed soul and expressed heartfelt condolences to the grieving family. He met with the bereaved relatives, offering them solace and strength during this difficult time, and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul.
Kapoor Kumar Tudu, who passed away on May 6, was the maternal cousin of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. He is survived by his mother, wife, two sons, and a daughter.
The Chief Minister acknowledged Tudu’s contributions to the Jharkhand movement and his commitment to social causes, remembering him as a dedicated and respected figure in the region.
