
UditVani, Jamshedpur : The CISCE National Boxing Tournament 2025, hosted by Christ Church Diocesan High School, Jabalpur, from September 18–20 witnessed a display of remarkable grit and talent with 376 boxers from nine CISCE regions across India vying for top honours.
Loyola School, Telco, made its mark with five young pugilists returning home with an impressive medal haul.

U-14 Girls: Nishu Oroan clinched Gold in the 24–26 kg category, while Koushiki Kumari bagged Silver in the 42–46 kg category.
U-14 Boys: Shaan Murmu won Gold in the 38–40 kg category, and Imon Mitra secured a Bronze in the 44–46 kg category.
U-17 Girls: Sambhabhi Mishra earned Silver in the 66–70 kg division.
Adding to the glory, Shaan Murmu has been selected to represent at the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) Tournament, a significant milestone in his budding career.
The triumphs brought laurels to Loyola School, Telco, underscoring the discipline and fighting spirit of its students. Principal Charanjeet Ohson, Administrator Fr. Gerry, Coordinators Reshma Rodrigues, Zeenat Maria, Colleen Francis, along with the entire school fraternity, congratulated the winners and their dedicated coach, Kartik Mahto, for the stellar achievement.
