
UditVani, Jamshedpur: A Basic Life Support (BLS) training session was conducted by Dr. Pushpa Tiwary from Tata Steel Foundation at Baldwin Farm Area High School. Dr. Tiwary and her team equipped participants with essential, hands-on skills to respond to medical emergencies with confidence and competence.
During the session, Dr. Tiwary explained the key principles of early recognition, effective CPR, the proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and techniques for managing choking in adults and children. Her clear demonstrations, step-by-step instructions, and focus on real-life situations helped participants understand not only how to perform each life-saving action, but also why it is crucial.
The training fostered a strong sense of preparedness and empowerment, ensuring that attendees left well-equipped to act promptly and effectively in emergencies—when every second truly matters.
