UditVani, Jamshedpur : A major road accident took place on Tuesday morning at the Matihana Flyover in Baharagora when a passenger bus lost control and overturned.
According to reports, the “Shankari” bus was en route from Jamshedpur to Gopiballavpur in West Bengal when the mishap took place.
More than 30 passengers sustained injuries in the accident.
All the injured were immediately rushed to Baharagora Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
On receiving information, Baharagora police reached the spot and began an investigation into the mishap.
The exact cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, local authorities have regulated traffic movement on the flyover to ensure safe passage for other vehicles.
