UditVani, Jamshedpur : In a powerful initiative aimed at inspiring young minds, Round Table India- Area 16 is organising its flagship social programme, “Area Flight of Fantasy (FOF) 2026,” on February 2 and 3.
Under this transformative initiative, 70 underprivileged students and teachers from Jharkhand and Odisha will experience air travel for the very first time.
The selected participants hail from districts including Dhanbad, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
Beyond the thrill of flying, the two-day programme offers an immersive educational and cultural exposure, with visits to iconic national institutions such as Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan, along with other prominent landmarks in the national capital.
Designed to nurture confidence, national pride and a forward-looking mindset, the initiative seeks to broaden the horizons of children who have had limited access to such opportunities.
The experience is expected to leave a lasting impact, motivating students to dream bigger and believe in their potential.
The programme is being organised in collaboration with Round Table India – Area 5, under the leadership of Area Chairman Tr. Pulkit Jindal, with active support from Delhi Midtown Round Table 49, Delhi Millennium Round Table 149 and Noida Round Table 285.
The project is led by Area Chairman Tr. Abhijit Mohanty, with LMF Tr. Harsh Vardhan Kandoi and Tr. Vineet Lohariwal serving as Area Flight of Fantasy Conveners.
From Jamshedpur, the initiative is being spearheaded by Table Chairman (JGSRT 224) Tr. Vivek Kumar Naredi, who, along with Treasurer Tr. Mohit Agarwal, will mentor and guide the participating students.
