UditVani, Jamshedpur : The monsoon continues to stay active over Jharkhand, with the Meteorological Department predicting spells of heavy rain and thunderstorms across several regions in the coming days.
On August 8, heavy rainfall is expected at isolated locations in the north-eastern parts of the state, while thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds (30–40 kmph) are likely in different areas.
Similar conditions are forecast for August 9 and 10, with thunderstorm activity persisting on August 11.

An upper-air cyclonic circulation over central Bangladesh, between 3.1 and 5.8 km and tilting southwestward with height, is further influencing the weather over Jharkhand.
