UditVani, Jamshedpur: A youth died in a tragic road mishap near Hurung in Birsnagar police station area, late last night.
The bike which the youth was riding went uncontrolled due to its breakneck speed and entered the forest cover, causing the bike rider Akash Mukherjee (24) to sustain serious injuries.
He was rushed to the Tata Main Hospital (TMH) where the victim died during treatment.
Akash Mukherjee was a resident of Telco’d N-Type .
He went to celebrate a birthday party at Barabanki with his friend Amandeep Singh.
While returning late in the night, his bike went uncontrolled and entered the forest due to high speed. The accident occurred near Huralung at around midnight.
According to family members, when Akash did not return home till late night and was not even picking up the phone, they reached Amandeep Singh’s house.
There they came to know that Akash had met with an accident and has been taken to TMH.
The accident has led to mourning and shock in the family. Akash’s father Sandeep Mukherjee is a teacher by profession.
Akash was his only son. He had completed his graduation from St. Xavier’s College in Ranchi and was soon going to go to Pune for further studies.
Police had sent the body for postmortem and has started investigating into the case.
