UditVani, Jamshedpur : Tata Steel and Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (TSUISL) jointly celebrated Lineman Diwas at Jusco Green, recognising the dedication and commitment of linemen who work tirelessly to ensure uninterrupted power supply, often under demanding and hazardous conditions.
The programme began with a flag-hoisting ceremony led by Atul Kumar Bhatnagar, Managing Director of TSUISL; Raghunath Pandey; and V. P. Singh. Participants also took a Safety Oath, reaffirming their commitment to safe work practices.
Addressing the gathering, Bhatnagar and Singh highlighted the significance of Lineman Diwas and appreciated the crucial role linemen play in maintaining a reliable and resilient power network.
During the event, 82 linemen were felicitated for their dedicated service and exemplary commitment.
Around 300 people, including employees, union representatives and other stakeholders, attended the programme.
