UditVani, Jamshedpur : ASL Motors, one of the most trusted names in the automobile industry and the authorised dealer for Tata Passenger Vehicles, celebrated a magnificent milestone — 25 glorious years of service, growth and customer trust. Founded by visionary entrepreneur Dilip Goyal and his wife Jayshree Goyal, ASL Motors has grown from a single dealership into a leading automotive group synonymous with reliability, innovation, and customer-centric excellence.

The Legacy of ASL Group
Over the past two and a half decades, ASL Group has established itself as a pillar of trust and commitment in the automobile retail sector. As an authorised dealer of Tata Passenger Cars, ASL Motors has consistently set benchmarks in sales, service, and customer satisfaction. The group’s operations, marked by professional excellence and a deep-rooted customer-first philosophy, have contributed immensely to strengthening Tata Motors’ footprint across the region.
From humble beginnings, ASL Motors today stands tall as a testament to entrepreneurial vision and perseverance, catering to thousands of happy customers and contributing to the socio-economic fabric of the region. Under the leadership of Dilip and Jayshree Goyal, the company has not only expanded its business horizons but has also upheld strong values of integrity, teamwork, and community service.
Motivational Session by Sonu Sharma: Igniting the Spirit of Success
To commemorate the silver jubilee celebrations, ASL Motors hosted a motivational session by the renowned speaker Sonu Sharma at the Kusum Kamani Auditorium.
Sharma, a charismatic speaker and life coach who conducts over 100 workshops annually across India, delivered an electrifying and thought-provoking session that left the audience inspired and introspective.
He began the session with an engaging observation game, challenging participants to remember and list a series of images — a simple yet powerful exercise in mindfulness and focus. Setting the tone for the evening, Sharma debunked a common belief, saying, “Knowledge is not power — the execution of knowledge is power.”
Insights that Inspire
Throughout his address, Sharma blended humor, personal anecdotes, and powerful life lessons. He spoke about how excitement in people’s lives often fades with time, whereas true success sustains only when excitement is maintained.
“Success is directly proportional to excitement,” he declared, urging the audience to keep their inner spark alive.
Challenging the conventional, Sharma dismissed the old adage ‘slow and steady wins the race’, saying, “When you are in the race, don’t sleep.”
Drawing from the famous rabbit and tortoise story, he emphasized the importance of staying alert, proactive, and consistent.
Age, he said, is merely a number. Quoting veteran actor Dev Anand, who after 12 consecutive flops had confidently told a journalist “My best is yet to come,” Sharma reminded the audience that perseverance and optimism are the hallmarks of achievers.
His remarks — “If you remain the same, how will you change the game?” — resonated deeply, as he urged individuals and businesses alike to embrace change and continuous learning.
Belief System and the Power of the Mind
In one of the most captivating segments, Sharma narrated the story of Roger Bannister, who shattered the myth that running a mile in under four minutes was impossible. “Today, over 12,000 people — including school children — have done it. That’s the power of belief,” he said.
He reinforced the connection between the mind and body, explaining how the body merely follows the brain’s instructions. Illustrating this, he recounted the story of a 27-year-old prisoner who died believing a cobra had bitten him, only for doctors to later discover poison in his body — a chilling reminder of how powerful our thoughts can be.
Success Mantras and Team Spirit
Touching upon modern business dynamics, Sharma highlighted the immense potential of social media as a game changer for businesses, emphasizing digital adaptability as key to survival in today’s world.
He also elaborated on customer retention algorithms, noting that retaining customers is more powerful and cost-effective than acquiring new ones.
“Teamwork,” he said, “is the ultimate secret of success. Great things are never achieved alone.” To illustrate, he cited the dominance of the Australian cricket team over the ICC World XI — a result, he said, of perfect alignment rather than mere talent.
Without naming them directly, Sharma remarked on how “two people from Gujarat are ruling the country,” driving home the point that alignment and vision outweigh raw ability.
Books and Beliefs
He also mentioned his best-selling Hindi book, “Safalta ke 24 Adhyay,” the first Hindi motivational book to top Amazon’s charts, and introduced his upcoming title, featuring a chapter called “Believe Yourself.”
A Divine Beginning to the Celebration
Earlier in the afternoon, as part of the 25-year celebrations, a prasadam ceremony of Lord Jagannath was organised on the premises of Narbheram Hansraj English School, Bistupur. A 20-member team from Puri graced the occasion, serving the sacred prasadam to invitees and well-wishers, adding a spiritual dimension to the day’s festivities.
A Journey of Passion, Purpose, and Perseverance
As ASL Motors celebrates its silver jubilee, the milestone stands not just as a marker of time but as a celebration of dedication, innovation, and trust. The event, infused with inspiration and gratitude, perfectly reflected the ethos of the ASL Group — a brand that continues to drive ahead with excellence, fuelled by the vision of its founders and the unwavering support of its customers.
