UditVani Jamshedpur : After a high-energy second matchday last week, the Jamshedpur Super League is set to return on Friday with a packed schedule featuring Under-15 and Under-13 encounters at the Tinplate Sports Complex. The U-13 matches will begin at 2.30 PM, followed by the U-15 fixtures from 3.30 PM onward. A total of 26 matches are lined up for the day — 10 in the U-13 category and 16 in the U-15 group.
This season marks the league’s largest-ever expansion, growing from 70 to 190 teams and bringing together over 1,100 grassroots footballers along with 888 participants from community groups. Rebranded from the AIFF’s Blue Cubs League model, the JSL continues to stand as India’s biggest grassroots football movement, promoting small-sided, age-appropriate formats designed for player development, maximum ball engagement, and pure enjoyment.
The opening two matchdays have already garnered overwhelming enthusiasm from players, coaches, and parents, showcasing the city’s rising football culture. The JSL’s inclusive ecosystem unites children, girls, mothers, fathers, veterans, and transgender participants — transforming the league into a community-wide celebration of the sport.
The weekend football fest will continue on Sunday, with all remaining age groups scheduled to play at the JRD Tata Sports Complex Artificial Turf and Armoury Ground.
