
UDIT VANI Jamshedpur: Anshuman Singh, a BBA student from the School of Commerce and Management at Sona Devi University, delivered an outstanding performance at the 16th State-Level Archery Championship, earning accolades for both the university and the city. The championship, organized by the Jharkhand Archery Association and sponsored by Tata Steel, was held from November 14 to 17 at the Archery Ground of the JRD Tata Sports Complex.
Anshuman Singh, currently in the 3rd semester of the BBA program (Batch 2024–2028), secured a bronze medal in the Compound 50m Mixed Team category, showcasing remarkable skill and sportsmanship in this prestigious event.
Anshuman’s achievement is attributed to his dedication and rigorous practice, guided by his committed coach Harendra Singh and supported by Ms. Monica Singh, Head of the Department, School of Commerce and Management. Their mentorship played a pivotal role in his success, helping him demonstrate excellence, focus, and precision at the state championship.
The management of Sona Devi University congratulated Anshuman Singh on his notable accomplishment. This victory not only boosts Anshuman’s morale but also inspires enthusiasm for archery across the university and the state.
