UditVani, Jamshedpur : Under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi, the East Singhbhum district administration continues to expedite the resolution of land disputes through its weekly initiative—“Circle-cum-Police Station Day”, held every Thursday across the district.
This initiative promotes collaborative efforts between revenue (circle) and police officials to resolve long-pending land-related cases at the grassroots level.
During today’s session, a total of 29 applications were received from different circles of the district. Of these, 18 cases were resolved on the spot, while the remaining 11 are currently under process and will be addressed on a priority basis.

Since the launch of the initiative, a total of 537 applications have been registered, out of which 381 cases have already been successfully resolved. The remaining 156 are in various stages of hearing and resolution.
The district administration aims to empower rural communities by fostering mutual understanding and administrative intervention to minimize the time taken in settling land disputes.
