Ranchi / Jamshedpur : In a landmark step towards educational transformation, Chief Minister Hemant Soren had inaugurated 80 Excellence Schools across Jharkhand in 2023 to provide quality English-medium education in government institutions.
The initiative is now bearing fruit. For the first time, students of these government Excellence Schools appeared for Class X and XII board examinations modeled on the CBSE pattern—and their results have been nothing short of extraordinary.
Students showcased their academic brilliance across various streams. In Class X, Shivlal Mehta from District School Medininagar secured an impressive 96.6%, while in Class XU, Subhashree Verma from Excellence School Dumka topped with 96.4%.
Excellence Across All Streams
In the Class X results, Abhay Kumar and Abhinav Gupta from Excellence School Bokaro both scored 95.4%, Anvesha Singh from Latehar secured 95%, Swarna Raj from District School Medininagar achieved 94.4%, and Prashansa Kumar Dubey from the same school scored 93.6%.
Khushi Kumari from Girls’ Excellence School Nawadih scored 93%, and Abhishek Kumar Dutta from Excellence School Deoghar obtained 92.8%.
In Class XI, Subhashree Verma from Dumka led the Arts stream with 96.4%, followed by Rishi Raj Anand from Medininagar, Palamu, who topped the Science stream with 96.2%.
In Giridih’s JC Bose School, Shreya Pandey, Lakshmi Kumari, and Pragya Kumari scored 94.4%, 94.6%, and 94.2% respectively in Arts. In Commerce, Dolly Kumari from Hazaribagh and Srishti Devgharia from Bariatu, Ranchi, each achieved 94%.
The Chief Minister extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the students and teachers for this remarkable achievement.
