Uditvani, Haldia: Indian Oil, Chairman, S M Vaidya made an extensive visit to Project sites and reviewed the overall performance of Haldia Refinery, Pipelines and Marketing division during his two day visit to Haldia Refinery.
Officials of Haldia Refinery made detailed presentations on the overall performance of the refinery, highlighting operational initiatives, Sustainable & Community Development initiatives. Vaidya visited the plant and personally interacted with the employees & other stakeholders at units. Chairman, IndianOil appreciated for their various innovative ideas implemented inside the refinery for improving plant safety and reliability in various units along with various path breaking initiatives undertaken for community development. Celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the event was marked by plantation of a tree sapling under the initiative of Crafting Green Future.
Haldia Refinery conducted an ‘Open House’, a one-to-one interaction forum with SM Vaidya for its employees. While interacting he said that IndianOil has been working in mission mode to meet the rapid growth of the nation’s energy needs while pursuing the aspiration for a greener tomorrow. He reminded them of their vital role as India’s energy soldiers. In his inspiring address Vaidya steered them towards innovation and enhanced productivity for maintaining the leadership vision of IndianOil. He stressed upon the need to innovate to withstand competition in the fiercely competitive market and encouraged everyone to continue working dedicatedly towards the growth of the organisation. He further said about the Oil & Gas scenario in the global market and IndianOil’s preparation to face these challenges.
According a warm welcome to Vaidya, Partha Ghosh, ED & Refinery Head extended his heart felt gratitude to Chairman, IndianOil for his visit and valuable time spent with the employees of Haldia Refinery. He affirmed Haldia Refinery’s commitment to keep the flag of IndianOil flying high and to set new milestones in its performance, thus contributing towards achieving overall organisational goals.
ED & State Head, WBSO, Pritish Bharat and ED- RS, WBSO LKS Chauhan accompanied him during his visit. On this occasion, Chairman, IndianOil was accorded a ceremonial guard of honor by the CISF contingent.
