झारखंड ने पूर्वी भारत को अंतरराष्ट्रीय शिक्षा साझेदारी के अगले चरण का प्रमुख गंतव्य बनाने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया. झारखंड सरकार की ओर से उच्च शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता सुधार के लिए किए जा रहे सुधारों का भी ब्योरा पेश किया गया. राज्य संकाय विकास अकादमी की स्थापना, राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के अनुरूप आठ सप्ताह की अनिवार्य इंटर्नशिप, और राज्य स्तरीय संस्थागत रैंकिंग फ्रेमवर्क से वैश्विक प्रतिनिधियों को अवगत कराया गया.

प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने बताया कि उच्च शिक्षा में लैंगिक समानता के मामले में झारखंड राष्ट्रीय औसत से बेहतर स्थिति में है और विदेशी छात्रवृत्ति योजना के तहत यूके जाने वाले छात्रों में 65 प्रतिशत महिलाएं हैं. संवाद के दौरान अप्रेंटिसशिप आधारित शिक्षा, उद्योग से जुड़े डिग्री कार्यक्रम, फिनिशिंग स्कूल की अवधारणा और आईटीआई पाठ्यक्रमों के आधुनिकीकरण पर विशेष चर्चा हुई. केयर इकॉनमी, पर्यटन और हॉस्पिटैलिटी, हरित कौशल, इलेक्ट्रिक मोबिलिटी और खनन से जुड़े अनुसंधान एवं कौशल विकास को प्राथमिक क्षेत्र बताया गया.

बैठक में भारत और यूके के बीच कौशल एवं योग्यताओं की पारस्परिक मान्यता, संयुक्त डिग्री कार्यक्रम, छात्र और शिक्षक विनिमय, अंतरराष्ट्रीय कैंपस और भारत–यूके हरित कौशल एजेंडा के तहत सहयोग के नए अवसरों पर सहमति बनी. सतत पर्यटन, आदिवासी ज्ञान प्रणालियां, संस्कृति, जलवायु कार्रवाई और नवाचार आधारित साझेदारियों पर भी विचार किया गया.

यूके पक्ष के प्रतिभागियों ने रांची और उसके आसपास विकसित हो रहे स्मार्ट सिटी पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र में शिक्षा आधारित निवेश की संभावनाओं में भी रुचि दिखाई. बैठक का समापन संस्थागत स्तर पर आगे की ठोस बातचीत और साझेदारियों को आगे बढ़ाने की सहमति के साथ हुआ.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the Jharkhand delegation hosted a high-level global dialogue on critical minerals, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, academics and global experts from India, the United Kingdom, Germany and Davos.

The discussions positioned Jharkhand as a key pillar of India’s geo-economic and geo-strategic framework.

Participants noted that Jharkhand is home to 20 of the 24 critical minerals identified by the Government of India, underscoring the state’s central role in strengthening national energy security, clean energy ambitions and advanced manufacturing capabilities.

The roundtable, themed “From Geology to Value Creation: Jharkhand’s Critical Minerals Opportunity”, emphasised the state’s growing relevance in future technologies and global supply chains.

The state government reiterated that Jharkhand’s vision extends beyond mining to encompass research and development, mineral processing, advanced manufacturing and technology-driven collaboration.

In this direction, a comprehensive mineral processing policy is being drafted, focusing on investment incentives, financial support and value chain development.

The approach aligns with international frameworks such as the UK-India Free Trade Agreement, India–Germany cooperation and broader UK–India trade and security initiatives.

Discussions also stressed the importance of responsible mining, sustainable supply chains and technology-led value addition.

Jharkhand’s development philosophy of “growth in harmony with nature” drew particular appreciation from global participants.

On the occasion, a coffee table book titled “Beneath the Ground: Powering India’s Energy Security” was released, showcasing Jharkhand’s geological wealth and its contribution to India’s energy future.

The presence of former Union ministers, senior state officials, global research institutions and international experts reinforced Jharkhand’s readiness for long-term, meaningful global partnerships.

As the state marks 25 years of its journey, Jharkhand is steadily transitioning from a mineral-rich region to an emerging global hub for processing, manufacturing and sustainable industrial development.

टेक महिंद्रा ने झारखंड में प्रस्तावित आईटी पार्क को मजबूती देने के लिए रणनीतिक भागीदार के रूप में जुड़ने में भी रुचि दिखाई. इसके साथ ही राज्य में ग्लोबल कैपेबिलिटी सेंटर (जीसीसी) स्थापित करने की संभावना पर भी सकारात्मक रुख रखा गया. प्रस्तावित जीसीसी के माध्यम से आईटी सेवाएं, रिसर्च एंड डेवलपमेंट, माइनिंग रिसर्च, फाइनेंस, कस्टमर सर्विस और डिजिटल इनोवेशन जैसे वैश्विक कार्यों का संचालन झारखंड की स्थानीय प्रतिभाओं द्वारा किया जा सकेगा. इससे राज्य को वैश्विक तकनीकी मानचित्र पर नई पहचान मिलने के साथ-साथ रोजगार के बड़े अवसर सृजित होने की उम्मीद है.

मानव संसाधन विकास और शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में भी टेक महिंद्रा ने राज्य सरकार के साथ सहयोग का प्रस्ताव रखा. कंपनी ने बताया कि वह उच्च शिक्षा, स्कॉलरशिप और स्किल डेवलपमेंट से जुड़े कई कार्यक्रम पहले से संचालित कर रही है. झारखंड के युवाओं के लिए राज्य के भीतर और बाहर कौशल विकास और रोजगारोन्मुखी प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों को मिलकर आगे बढ़ाने पर सहमति बनी.
