इस बार बीएम में इंजीनियरिंग व नॉन इंजीनियरिंग बैकग्राउंड के पुरुष व महिला उम्मीदवारों में किसी प्रकार का कोई अंतर नहीं रखा गया है. नॉन इंजीनियरिंग बैकग्राउंड के पुरुष उम्मीदवारों का भी 96 पर्सेंटाइल जबकि नॉन इंजीनियरिंग महिला उम्मीदवारों को 91 पर्सेटाइल हासिल करना अनिवार्य किया गया है. जबकि पिछले साल इस केटेगरी में पुरुषों के लिए 95 पर्सेंटाइल जबकि नॉन इंजीनियरिंग केटेगरी में महिला उम्मीदवारों के लिए 90 पर्सेंटाइल तय किए गये थे. इस बार दोनों में बढ़ोतरी कर दी गई है.

इधर, ह्यूमन रिसोर्स मैनेजमेंट में इंजीनियरिंग बैकग्राउंड वाले पुरुष उम्मीदवारों के लिए कटऑफ मार्क्स 95 पर्सेंटाइल जबकि इंजीनियरिंग बैकग्राउंड की महिला उम्मीदवारों के लिए 90 पर्सेंटाइल अंक तय किये गये हैं. नॉन इंजीनियरिंग पृष्ठभूमि के पुरुष आवेदकों को ह्यूमन रिसोर्स प्रोग्राम के लिए 93 पर्सेंटाइल जबकि नॉन इंजीनियरिंग पृष्ठभूमि की महिलाओं के लिए सिर्फ 87 पर्सेंटाइल तय किया गया है. पिछले साल की तुलना में कटऑफ में अपेक्षाकृत कमी की गयी हैन पिछले साल नॉन इंजीनियरिंग बैकग्राउंड की महिला उम्मीदवारों का कटऑफ 91 पर्सेंटाइल था, जो इस बार 90 पर्सेंटाइल किया गया है.

एक्सएलआरआई जमशेदपुर व दिल्ली दोनों ही ब्रांच में एडमिशन के लिए उम्मीदवारों को कॉल लेटर भेजा जाएगा. एक्सएलआरआई के दोनों परिसरों के विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों के लिए 2025-2027 में एडमिशन के लिए करीब 4000-4500 उम्मीदवारों का इंटरव्यू होगा. पीजीडीएम (जीएम) कार्यक्रम के लिए तीन चरण में इंटरव्यू पूरी हो चुकी है. एक चरण फरवरी माह में होगा. आईईवी और डबल मास्टर प्रोग्राम जैसे कार्यक्रमों के लिए कट ऑफ बाद में कार्यक्रम की विशिष्ट आवश्यकताओं को संबोधित करने वाले कार्यक्रम के परामर्श से तय किया जायेगा.

Following the release of the XAT 2025 scorecards on January 17, XLRI has announced updated admission thresholds for the Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM), offered at both the XLRI Jamshedpur and XLRI Delhi-NCR campuses, and for the Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM), offered at the XLRI Jamshedpur campus.

Business Management (BM) Program Cutoffs :

For the Business Management program, male candidates—whether they come from an engineering/technology or a non-engineering background—are required to meet an overall cutoff of 96 percentile.

Female candidates applying for the program (both from engineering/tech and non-engineering streams) have a slightly lower overall cutoff set at 91 percentiles. Sectional cutoffs vary slightly based on gender.

By maintaining clear percentile requirements across gender and academic backgrounds, XLRI strives to encourage a robust mix of students with diverse perspectives.

The slight variations in cutoffs ensure broader participation while still holding all applicants to high standards of merit.

Human Resource Management (HRM) Program Cutoffs :

In the Human Resource Management program, XLRI has set cutoffs that recognize the unique needs and diverse backgrounds of candidates.

Male applicants from engineering and technology backgrounds require a 95 percentile overall, while their non-engineering counterparts stand at 93 percentile.

In line with its diversity drive, XLRI has established lower overall cutoffs for female applicants: 90 percentile for engineers/tech and 87 percentile for non-engineers. Sectional cutoffs vary slightly based on gender and engineering/tech and non-engineering backgrounds.
