According to sources from the construction agency and departmental engineers, the external structure of the building has been completed in its entirety.

Interior finishing, including electrical systems, high-end networking, data communication infrastructure, modern security installations, parking development, and furnishing work, is currently underway at a rapid pace.

If the current momentum is maintained, the project is well on track for completion within the projected timeline.

Why a New SSP Office Was Imperative

For years, Jamshedpur’s police administration had been grappling with space constraints and infrastructural fatigue. The existing SSP office, in use for several decades, had outlived its structural and functional capacity. With the expansion of departments and the growing complexity of policing needs, the old building struggled to accommodate essential units.

Cramped record rooms, inadequate space for technical branches, lack of a proper waiting area for the public, limited facilities for women help desks, and an absence of a modern control room had become persistent challenges. Poor ventilation, insufficient natural lighting, and disorganised parking further compounded daily operational difficulties for both officers and visitors.

Recognising these limitations, the state government, district administration, and police department jointly approved the proposal for a new, future-ready SSP headquarters, envisioning it as a model police complex for the region.

The new SSP building is being constructed at a cost of  Rs 9.19 crore and spans nearly 10,000 square feet.

Designed with an emphasis on durability, energy efficiency, and technological adaptability, the G+3 structure incorporates high-quality construction materials and adheres strictly to modern safety standards.

Advanced fire-fighting systems, energy-saving electrical installations, robust power backup, and scalable digital infrastructure have been integrated to ensure the building remains relevant for years to come.

पीड़िता ने यह भी बताया कि उनकी नाबालिग बेटी की स्कूल फीस और अन्य खर्चे भी रोक दिए गए हैं। आरोप है कि उनके जेठ ने उनके खिलाफ थाने में झूठा मुकदमा दर्ज करवाया, जिससे पुलिस भी उनका सहयोग नहीं कर रही है। नाजिया ने पहले जुगसलाई थाना में शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी, लेकिन अब तक कोई कार्रवाई नहीं हुई।

थक-हार कर अब नाजिया ने साकची महिला थाना और जमशेदपुर एसएसपी से न्याय की मांग की है। उन्होंने भरोसा जताया कि पुलिस प्रशासन जल्द ही मामले में उचित कदम उठाएगा।

जिसके बाद पुलिस आनंद राव के पीछे लग गई थी. आनंद को रांची से गिरफ्तार किया है. आनंद द्वारा लोगों से अतिरिक्त ब्याज देने की बात कहकर रुपए लिए जाते थे जिसे वह अपने निजी काम के लिए इस्तेमाल करता था. इसमें उसकी पत्नी भी शामिल है जी अभी फरार चल रही है. आनंद आस पास के राज्यों से भी लोगों से रुपए लेता था. अब तक 6 लाख से लेकर 87 लाख रुपए लेने की बात सामने आई है.

आनंद के खिलाफ साकची में दो, गोविंदपुर में एक और बिष्टुपुर में एक मामला दर्ज किया गया है. उन्होंने बताया की साल 2013 से ही आनंद ने ये काम शुरू कर दिया था पर संबंधित कंपनी रुपए लेकर भाग गई.

फिर साल 2017 में आनंद आईआईएफएल से जुड़ा पर लगातार लोगों की शिकायत पर 2021 में आईआईएफएल ने आनंद राव का लाइसेंस रद्द कर दिया. बावजूद इसके आनंद लोगों से रुपए लेता रहा.
