सभी वर्गों में उत्कृष्ट और संतुलित प्रदर्शन करते हुए ईस्ट ज़ोन टीम ने कुल 41 अंक अर्जित कर तालिका में पहला स्थान हासिल किया और राष्ट्रीय चैम्पियनशिप का खिताब अपने नाम किया. 34 अंकों के साथ वेस्ट ज़ोन को पीछे छोड़ते हुए टीम ने अपना दबदबा कायम रखा. यह गौरवपूर्ण उपलब्धि टीएसएएफ स्पोर्ट क्लाइम्बिंग अकादमी के लिए लगातार पांचवीं राष्ट्रीय चैम्पियनशिप जीत है.

टीएसएएफ के खिलाडियों ने अकेले 22 पदक जीते
पदक तालिका की बात करें तो, टीएसएएफ स्पोर्ट क्लाइम्बिंग अकादमी के खिलाड़ियों ने कुल 22 पदक अपने नाम किए, जिनमें 7 स्वर्ण, 5 रजत और 10 कांस्य पदक शामिल हैं. पूरे टूर्नामेंट के दौरान टीम को टीएसएएफ के अधिकारियों का मजबूत सहयोग मिला. इस सहयोगी दल में बाबू लाल (कोच), कुमार गौरव (मैनेजर), सुक्यो जिन (ऑब्ज़र्वर), दिशा डांगत (फिजियोथेरेपिस्ट) तथा पार्थो मसूरे और सिद्धि काबरा (स्पोर्ट्स साइकोलॉजिस्ट) शामिल रहे, जिन्होंने चैम्पियनशिप के दौरान खिलाड़ियों का हर कदम पर मार्गदर्शन और समर्थन किया.

Nisha’s love for adventure began during her school days. It was at DBMS that sports teacher Surojeet Singh first recognized her talent. Known for her fearless spirit from childhood, she had already trekked to challenging locations like Uttarkashi and Gangotri during her formative years. Her adventurous nature earned her several awards and motivated her to take the road less traveled.

Her mother, Rajashree Anand, fondly recalls a defining childhood moment: “When she was just six, she suffered a deep cut on her forehead, and while blood was pouring out, she didn’t panic. That’s who she is—never afraid, and always excited after every challenge.”

Today, Nisha is not just a mountaineer but also a successful entrepreneur and a devoted mother. Based in San Francisco, she runs Culture Room Boutique, a fashion studio that blends South Asian traditions with modern design.

Her unique creations have gained popularity among the Indian diaspora and international clientele.

Her journey as a mother has also been one of resilience. Her son Ved, once in the NICU, is now a healthy and cheerful child thanks to her unwavering dedication. “She fought like a lioness,” her family says.

In 2024, Nisha had already conquered the trek to Everest Base Camp after months of training in the hilly terrains around San Francisco. Early morning hikes and weekend treks built the stamina and discipline that paved the way for this success. Her husband, family, and in-laws supported her throughout.

Kilimanjaro posed a new challenge—another continent, a new terrain, and a test of both physical and mental endurance. Yet, Nisha proved that no summit is unreachable when driven by determination.

Reflecting on her achievement, she says, “Every climb, every trek mirrors life—it’s hard, uncertain, but deeply fulfilling. The mountains have taught me that it’s not just about reaching the top; it’s about who you become along the way.”

Her accomplishments are not just personal triumphs but also a testament to the nurturing environment of Jamshedpur that shaped her character.

“There’s something special in the air here. The Tata culture of simplicity, values, and a strong education system helps children grow into well-rounded individuals, ” her family remarks.

जेसीएपीसीपीएल के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर, उज्ज्वल चक्रवर्ती ने कहा कि सीएसआर पहल के हिस्से के रूप में हम वंचित पृष्ठभूमि से जमीनी स्तर की प्रतिभा के विकास के लिए क्लाइंबिंग स्पोर्ट्स को बढ़ावा देना चाहते हैं, खासकर मस्ती की पाठशाला से, जिसके साथ जेसीएपीसीपीएल 2021 से जुड़ा हुआ है.

नतीजतन, कंपनी ने टाटा स्टील एडवेंचर फाउंडेशन (टीएसएएफ) के साथ साझेदारी की है ताकि इस एडवेंचर स्पोर्ट्स को समर्थन दिया जा सके और युवा प्रतिभाओं को अंतरराष्ट्रीय खेलों के क्षेत्र में प्रदर्शन के लिए तैयार किया जा सके.

टीएसएएफ स्पोर्ट्स क्लाइंबिंग अकादमी भारत के ओलंपिक के सपने को साकार करने के लिए पूरे देश में प्रतिभाशाली एथलीटों को विकसित करने के लिए अत्याधुनिक सुविधाओं और खेल विज्ञान को एक साथ जोड़ रहा है. अकादमी में 11 राष्ट्रीय स्तर के एथलीट हैं, जिनमें से 2 ने एशियाई खेलों 2022 के लिए क्वालीफाई किया है.

इनमें से 8 से अधिक एथलीटों ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय चैंपियनशिप के पिछले संस्करणों में भाग लिया है. उनकी नजर 2024 में पेरिस में होने वाले ओलंपिक और 2028 में लॉस एंजल्स में होने वाले ओलंपिक खेलों पर है.एमओयू पर हस्ताक्षर के साथ टीएसएएफ जमीनी स्तर पर विकास की पहुंच का विस्तार करने, मजबूत कड़ी के निर्माण के लिए प्रतिभा पूल की खोज करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित करता है.

मौजूदा केंद्र पिपला, तुमुंग, डिमना, राजनगर, परसुडीह, बागुनहातु और टिनप्लेट में हैं. अकादमी में बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन करने वाले बच्चों को प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा. इंटरनेशनल फेडरेशन ऑफ स्पोर्ट्स क्लाइंबिंग (आईएफएससी) के दिशानिर्देशों के अनुसार केंद्र में दो नई चढ़ाई वाली दीवारों का निर्माण किया जा रहा हैं, टीएसएएफ अपनी सुविधाओं के साथ अंतरराष्ट्रीय चैंपियनशिप की मेजबानी करने के लिए भी तैयार है.
