आरंभ से अब तक टाटा स्टील वर्ल्ड 25 के कोलकाता ने 114 से अधिक एनजीओ को जागरूकता फैलाने और स्वास्थ्य, पर्यावरण, पशु कल्याण, शिक्षा, मानवाधिकार, कौशल विकास, सामुदायिक विकास, महिला सशक्तिकरण, बालिका शिक्षा, बाल यौन शोषण और विकलांगता जैसे कारणों के लिए 5.16 करोड़ रुपये जुटाने में सक्षम बनाया है. पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा के डिप्टी चीफ व्हिप और कोलकाता म्युनिसिपल कॉर्पोरेशन के एमएमआईसी देबाशीष कुमार ने कहा, “पांच हजार से लेकर तेईस हजार तक – टाटा स्टील वर्ल्ड 25 के कोलकाता शहर की जीवंत नब्ज है. 45 लाख रुपये समाज को बेहतर बनाने के लिए जुटाए गए. यह सिर्फ एक रेस नहीं, बल्कि शहर का दिल है.”

परिवहन विभाग ने जागरूकता पर्चों का भी वितरण किया. उपायुक्त ने लोगों से हेलमेट पहनने, शराब पीकर वाहन न चलाने तथा यातायात नियमों का पालन करने की अपील की. उन्होंने बताया कि सड़क दुर्घटना में घायलों को अस्पताल पहुंचाने वाले नेक नागरिकों को सरकार पुरस्कृत करती है तथा उन्हें किसी कानूनी झंझट में नहीं फंसाया जाता.

In the Women’s category, Manali Singha finished first with 18:55, followed by Manisha (20:56), Dilki Pareya (21:18), China Gope (22:04) and Laxmi Murmu (22:32).

Tata Steel Foundation also celebrated the completion of past Fellowship projects, many of which now hold significant cultural documentation ready for public access.

An eminent jury comprising Sonam Wangchok, Meenakshi Munda, Oinam Doren, Parmanand Patel and Madan Meena guided the rigorous selection process.

यह आयोजन शाम 6 बजे शुरू होगा और प्रतिभागियों को शाम 4:30 बजे तक रिपोर्ट करना है. प्रतिभागियों का पंजीकरण, आयोजन स्थल पर ही किया जाएगा और भागीदारी पूरी तरह से निःशुल्क है. सभी के लिए एक गुणवत्तापूर्ण अनुभव सुनिश्चित करने के लिए यह दौड़ केवल पंजीकरण कराने वाली पहली 200 महिलाओं के लिए खुली है. इस आयोजन में दो आयु वर्ग होंगे – 18 से 35 वर्ष और 35 वर्ष और उससे अधिक, जिससे प्रतिभागी अपने-अपने समूहों में प्रतिस्पर्धा कर सकेंगे.

30 को होने वाले हाफ मैराथन का वार्म अप होगा
यह पहल आगामी जमशेदपुर हाफ मैराथन में भाग लेने की इच्छुक महिला प्रतिभागियों के लिए एक प्रारंभिक दौड़ के रूप में है, जिससे उन्हें जल्दी प्रशिक्षण शुरू करने और गति बनाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जाता है. शहर भर की महिलाओं को इस ऊर्जावान, सहयोगी और फिटनेस-केंद्रित कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने और साथ मिलकर दौड़ने की भावना का अनुभव करने के लिए आमंत्रित किया जाता है.
