<p>The collaboration centres on harnessing high-temperature waste heat generated during steelmaking processes.</p>

<p>Instead of allowing this energy to dissipate unused, the system will capture and store it for reuse—specifically to heat process water required during the sintering stage.</p>

<p>This intelligent reuse of energy not only optimizes resource efficiency but also significantly cuts down on fuel consumption.</p>

<p>By integrating this innovative technology, Tata Steel is expected to reduce its carbon footprint by approximately 22,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually.</p>
