In the Men’s Billiards event, Anish Parikh of Jamshedpur reaffirmed his dominance by securing his sixth consecutive state title, defeating fellow city player Aman Kumar 3-1 in a gripping final.

After conceding the opening frame 132-150, Anish staged a commanding comeback, winning the next three frames 150-133, 150-84, and 150-37 to retain his crown in emphatic fashion.

Earlier in the semi-final, Aman Kumar booked his place in the title clash with a convincing 2-0 victory over Snehanshu Saha, with frame scores of 150-64 and 150-92.
In the third-place playoff, Snehanshu Saha bounced back strongly to defeat Sumit Agarwal 2-1, securing the bronze position.

The Boys Under-21 Snooker final also produced an exciting contest, with Aayush Kumar of Ranchi overcoming Arsh Kumar 2-1 in a closely fought match.

After dropping the opening frame 37-72, Aayush displayed remarkable composure to clinch the next two frames 50-43 and 65-26, earning the state title.

In the Women’s Snooker final, Susma Khanal emerged as the state champion after a resilient 2-1 victory over Pratima Kumari. Despite losing the opening frame 41-78, Susma staged an impressive turnaround, taking the next two frames 47-38 and 49-31 to claim the coveted title.

The prestigious state-ranking tournament, being held from May 12 to 24, continues to showcase Jharkhand’s finest billiards and snooker talent, underlining the growing popularity and competitive depth of cue sports in the state.
