Kashish Chandra showcased fine cue control to outplay Hemant Kumar in straight frames, winning 66-29 and 57-27, while Kush Adesara secured a solid 2-0 win over Ganesh Khanal with scores of 59-32 and 52-39.

The most closely contested match of the day saw Snehanshu Saha overcome Alok Sharma 2-1 in a gripping encounter.

After dropping the opening frame 27-48, Saha staged an impressive comeback to claim the next two frames 72-38 and 57-46.

In other matches, Alam Noori defeated Anseth Pereira 2-0 with frame scores of 53-23 and 51-44, while Gaurav Sahu edged past Varun Vig in straight frames, winning 56-47 and 46-35.
