The circular road will be open for morning walkers from 5.00 AM to 9.00 AM only.

Since January 2023, the New Entrance to Tata Steel Zoological Park has been operationalized from Marine Drive road, adjacent to XLRI.

As part of the overall masterplan, one of the objective was to create a non-vehicular zone inside Jubilee Park. Earlier, the pedestrian walkway was allowed only up to the old gate of Zoo. The new infrastructure developments in and around the Zoo by Tata Steel were planned in a manner to extend this walkway all around the Jayanti Sarovar.

This development is especially beneficial for those who enjoy morning walks since it will be free from traffic now. With traffic being diverted, people can also engage in activities such as bird watching, fitness programs like walking, jogging, cycling, apart from enjoying the lush green surroundings of the lake. This will allow people to connect with nature.

Present on the occasion were Pranay Sinha, Chief Corporate Services, Tata Steel Jamshedpur along with Rituraj Sinha, Managing Director, Tata Steel Utilities & Infrastructure Services Limited and other senior officials of the company.
