राज्यपाल संतोष गंगवार ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि डूरंड कप जैसा प्रतिष्ठित और ऐतिहासिक टूर्नामेंट झारखंड में आयोजित होना राज्य के लिए सम्मान की बात है. उन्होंने कहा कि इस प्रकार के आयोजनों से राज्य की युवाशक्ति को अनुशासन, एकता और टीम भावना की प्रेरणा मिलती है. उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि केंद्र एवं राज्य सरकार खेलों के माध्यम से युवाओं को प्रशिक्षित करने, अवसर प्रदान करने और आधारभूत संरचना मजबूत करने की दिशा में लगातार प्रयासरत है. ओलंपिक 2036 की मेजबानी के लिए भारत सरकार के दावे का उल्लेख करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि झारखंड के युवाओं को राष्ट्रीय-अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंचों पर पहुंचने के लिए ऐसे आयोजन प्रेरणास्रोत हैं.

Although Jamshedpur fell 1-4 to Punjab FC in the final, Kaizad emphasized the positives. “We started slow and gave Punjab too much space, which they capitalized on. But I was proud of our second-half response. We kept the ball better, pressed higher, and created chances. The boys never gave up. That spirit is something we can build on.”
