Kundan Chandra, Head of Grassroots and Youth Development at Jamshedpur FC, said the surge in participation showcases the lasting impact of the tournament. “This edition is bigger than last year’s inaugural league, and the response has been tremendous. When parents participate, football becomes a natural part of daily life. These community tournaments are vital for sustaining long-term interest and keeping the sport vibrant in Jamshedpur,” he noted.

Parents come along, the atmosphere is festive, and Jamshedpur FC is doing the best possible work to keep football alive,” he noted.

Juan Ferrando returns to Fatorda to take on his former team as the Gaurs look for their first win against the Mariners in Hero ISL. FC Goa suffered a 3-1 defeat against Kerala Blasters in their last fixture. A few key players recovered in time for the game, but the Gaurs could not avoid their second defeat in five games.
