उलिहातु स्थित बिरसा मुंडा कॉम्प्लेक्स में आयोजित मुख्य कार्यक्रम में झारखंड के राज्यपाल संतोष कुमार गंगवार, मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन और केंद्रीय जनजातीय मंत्री जुएल ओराम सहित कई विशिष्ट जन शामिल हुए. उन्होंने भगवान बिरसा मुंडा के वंशजों से आत्मीय मुलाकात की तथा शॉल ओढ़ाकर एवं स्मृति चिन्ह भेंटकर उन्हें सम्मानित किया.

इस मौके पर राज्यपाल संतोष कुमार गंगवार ने संबोधन में कहा कि बिरसा मुंडा ने अल्पायु में मातृभूमि और जनजातीय अस्मिता की रक्षा के लिए जिस साहस का परिचय दिया, वह सभी के लिए प्रेरणादायक है.

मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन ने कहा कि भगवान बिरसा मुंडा की जन्मस्थली पर जितनी बार आता हूं, धन्य हो जाता हूं. ‘धरती आबा’ (धरती पिता) बिरसा मुंडा के आदर्शों पर चलकर ही लंबी लड़ाई और कुर्बानियों के बाद अलग झारखंड राज्य की परिकल्पना साकार हुई. हम उनके आदर्शों को हमेशा आत्मसात करके आगे बढ़ेंगे.

उन्होंने कहा कि आदिवासी और जनजातीय समुदायों के सर्वांगीण विकास के लिए सरकार की ओर से कई महत्वाकांक्षी योजनाएं चलाई जा रही हैं. आज झारखंड 25 वर्ष का युवा राज्य बन चुका है और युवा शक्ति के सहयोग से झारखंड को देश के अग्रणी राज्यों की श्रेणी में लाने की दिशा में ठोस कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं. शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, खेल, पर्यटन और आधारभूत संरचना के विकास पर तेजी से काम चल रहा है. सरकार का लक्ष्य है कि हर घर में खुशहाली आए और जनता विकास यात्रा की भागीदार बने.

केंद्रीय मंत्री जुएल ओराम ने कहा कि बिरसा मुंडा ने स्वतंत्रता संग्राम और जनजातीय अधिकारों की लड़ाई में जो इतिहास रचा, वह भारतीय सभ्यता की अमूल्य धरोहर है. उन्होंने कहा, “उलिहातु की इस पवित्र भूमि पर आकर मैं स्वयं को गौरवान्वित महसूस कर रहा हूं. बिरसा मुंडा के आदर्श, त्याग और संघर्ष हमेशा प्रेरणा देते रहेंगे.”

समारोह में विधायक विकास सिंह मुंडा, रामसूर्या मुंडा, सुदीप गुड़िया, मुख्य सचिव अविनाश कुमार, बिरसा मुंडा के वंशज सुखराम मुंडा सहित बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण और अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे.

झारखंड भाजपा के प्रदेश प्रवक्ता प्रतुल शाहदेव ने शिवसेना (उद्धव) पर तीखा हमला बोला. उन्होंने कहा कि शिवसेना को आरएसएस जैसे राष्ट्रवादी संगठन की उपलब्धियों पर सवाल उठाने का कोई अधिकार नहीं है.

शाहदेव ने कहा, “शिवसेना (उद्धव) को हमें सर्टिफिकेट देने की जरूरत नहीं है. कभी शिवसेना के संस्थापक बालासाहेब ठाकरे को ‘हिंदुत्व का टाइगर’ कहा जाता था, उनकी तस्वीर में पृष्ठभूमि में शेर की छवि होती थी. लेकिन आज उनके बेटे उद्धव ठाकरे ने उस हिंदुत्व की विचारधारा को तिलांजलि दे दी. टाइगर का बेटा मेमना नहीं, बल्कि लोमड़ी बन गया, जो मौका देखकर पाला बदल लेता है.”

शाहदेव ने उद्धव ठाकरे पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री बनने की लालसा में उन्होंने कांग्रेस के साथ गठबंधन कर लिया, जो बालासाहेब की हिंदुत्व की सोच के विपरीत है.

उन्होंने कहा, “उद्धव ठाकरे न घर के रहे, न घाट के. उनकी पार्टी अब पूरी तरह अप्रासंगिक हो चुकी है.”

शाहदेव ने आगे कहा कि आरएसएस ने हमेशा देश के लिए सकारात्मक योगदान दिया है. चाहे प्राकृतिक आपदा हो, कोरोना महामारी हो, या भारत-पाकिस्तान और भारत-चीन युद्ध जैसे संकट, आरएसएस के स्वयंसेवकों ने हर बार सरकार और समाज का साथ दिया.

उन्होंने कहा, “राष्ट्रपति से लेकर आम नागरिक तक, सभी ने आरएसएस के सेवा कार्यों की सराहना की है. संघ के शताब्दी समारोह के तहत देशभर में रक्तदान शिविर, सामाजिक सेवा कार्यक्रम, और राष्ट्रवादी विचारधारा को बढ़ावा देने वाले आयोजन हो रहे हैं. इन कार्यक्रमों में युवाओं को जोड़ने पर विशेष जोर दिया जा रहा है.

Professor T N Singh, Director, IIT Patna graced the occasion as the chief guest. Prof. Singh shared his insightful thoughts on the ongoing innovations and opportunities that are available on critical metals, manufacturing industries and e-waste. A sector, that is central to NML’s sphere of operation and therefore of immense importances to us. Prof. Singh has suggested brainstorming to develop greener and cleaner products and services, also huge need for breeding eco-system through collobaration that supports innovations which includes educational sectors and MSMEs.
He emphasised the compelling need to do this faster.

Several awards were customarily presented by the Director, NML to the staff for their outstanding contribution in Technical and Non-Technical areas as well as to the meritorious staff children for their various achievements in the year 2021. The awards included the V.A. Altekar award for the best technology licensed or commercialized, B.R. Nijhawan Award for the best paper published, the Prof. S.P. Mehrotra award for the best colloquium speaker, and Prof. Shilowbhadra Banerjee award for the best in-house project completed during the year 2021, Prof. P. Ramachandra Rao award for the best employee in Technical/ Non-Technical Category during the year 2021 and several meritorious awards to NML staff children in various categories.

On the occasion, CSIR-NML signed seven MoUs with Industry and Academic institutions to carry out collaborative research in futuristic R&D areas and solve current & future industrial R&D problems. MoUs for academic collaboration was signed with IIT Patna and IIT (ISM) Dhanbad for enhancing joint student mentoring and undertaking joint R&D projects of mutual interest. This collaboration aims to organize joint seminars/conferences/ workshops as well as to provide better exposure and access to available state-of-the-art equipment to the students to pursue their higher studies. This would also fulfill the Skill India objectives of the government of India. Industry partners including – Mr. R. Sarangapani, Chief General Manager, NTPC, New Delhi; Dr. Amit Chatterjee, Chief R&D Officer, Vedanta Pvt Ltd; Mr. Sarbendu Sanyal, Chief Technolgy Officer, JAMIPOL (Jamshedpur), and Mr. Lallit Vashista, CEO & Founder, Diva Envitec, Mumbai also signed MoUs with CSIR-NML to collaborate in various fields of mutual interest, to find novel solutions to the industrial problems and to develop technologies. CSIR-NML joined hands with NTPC to enable studies related to the residual life assessment of important parts of the boiler and turbines in power plants. Vedanta Pvt Ltd and CSIR-NML have agreed to work together for the development and scaling up of laboratory-level technologies to the industrial level. These collaborations will ensure that research on sustainable technologies is also focused. The successful collaboration of CSIR-NML with academic and industrial partners is the need of the hour and will play a major role in the development of the nation. Director NML lauded the collaborations as pathways to synergise energy and expertise of all colloborators to act as catalysts in redising the aim & objective of each of us..

Towards the end of the function, a memento was presented by Director-NML to the chief guest & all colloborators. A vote of thanks was proposed by Mr.  Aditya Mainak, Administrative Officer,

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा यह झारखण्ड के लिए गौरव की बात है। आज झारखण्ड के आदिवासी और मूलवासी शैक्षणिक, सामाजिक और राजनीतिक तौर पर अपनी अलग पहचान बनाने में लगे हैं और आज जहां हर जगह एक प्रतिस्पर्धा की स्थिति बनी है। हर किसी में अपनी क्षमता और हुनर है, जिसके बल पर वह अपनी पहचान बनाता है, जिस प्रगति मैदान में वर्षों पहले पढ़ाई के दौरान आया था, आज वहां अतिथि के रूप में आया हूँ। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा झारखण्ड के जिस परिवार को दो वक्त का भोजन सही से नहीं मिल पाता था, उस परिवार के बच्चे खेल में देश का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं। आज उन सभी हुनरमंद बच्चों को वर्तमान सरकार तराशने में लगी है और आने वाली पीढ़ी को उनके लिए बेहतर मार्ग प्रशस्त करने के लिए रोज नए सोच के साथ देश के सामने आ रही है।

कलाकारों का हौसला बढ़ाया

अंतरराष्ट्रीय व्यापार मेला में आयोजित झारखण्ड दिवस समारोह में पाईका, पंच-परगनिया, मुण्डारी, मानभूम छऊ, नागपुरी नृत्य के माध्यम से झारखण्ड के कलाकारों ने सबका मन मोहा। एक ओर जहां कलाकारों ने अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ दिया, वहीं झारखण्ड के मुख्यमंत्री उनके बीच पहुंच कर उनकी हौसला अफजाई की।

झारखण्ड के स्टॉल का किया अवलोकन

झारखण्ड दिवस समारोह में शामिल होने से पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हेमन्त सोरेन भारतीय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व्यापार मेला 2022 में झारखण्ड पवेलियन का परिभ्रमण किया और मेले में भाग लेने वाले झारखण्ड के प्रतिभागियों का उत्साहवर्धन किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने मेले में पलाश, झारक्राफ्ट, खादी, कृषि, पशुपालन विभाग का जैविक कृषि का स्टाल, वन विभाग का स्टाल, ऊर्जा विभाग का जरेडा स्टाल, लघु एवं कुटीर उद्यम विकास बोर्ड के स्टाल में विशेष रूची दिखाई। मुख्यमंत्री के साथ, मौके पर श्रम मंत्री सत्यानंद भोक्ता, विधायक श्री दिनेश विलियम मरांडी, मुख्य सचिव सुखदेव सिंह, उद्योग सचिव वंदना दाडेल, मुख्यमंत्री के सचिव श्री विनय कुमार चौबे एवं अन्य उपस्थित थे। मालूम हो कि अंतरराष्ट्रीय व्यापार मेला में झारखण्ड पार्टनर स्टेट के तौर पर शामिल होकर एक अमिट छाप छोड़ा है।

Dr. Subhas Sarkar in his address appreciated the various programmes and schemes of NIOS and said that NIOS is lighting the lamp of knowledge all over the world. Talking about the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, he mentioned that today’s children will be young people in the age group of 30-40 years on the completion of 100 years of independence and will be responsible for building our nation.

He said that the Ministry of Education, has entrusted NIOS with several responsibilities such as developing inclusive education resources, expanding the open and distance education system in states/UTs, translating all courses into more languages as required, creation of Indian Knowledge Tradition based courses and propagating Indian culture by translating them into major foreign languages.

10 crore adults enrolled under ‘Basic Literacy Assessment’:

He also praised the programmes of NIOS enrolling 10 crore adults under ‘Basic Literacy Assessment’, training of in-service teachers, Gender Green Project and training in Yoga. He said that Indian Sign Language as subject at the secondary level has been acknowledged at national and international platforms. He described the launch of e-library called ‘DEEP’ by NIOS as a big step forward.

Prof. Saroj Sharma spoke about the journey of 33 years of NIOS and highlighted the special achievements. She said that NIOS is one of the two National Boards of Education under the Ministry of Education, which provides school education through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) for secondary, senior secondary and vocational education. She elaborated on the role of NIOS in the field of education, efforts being made by NIOS for successful implementation of New Education Policy, Virtual Open School, Digital Library (DEEP), NEPIA Project, MoU with Ministry of Defence for Agniveer Project, setting up of Mukta Kaushal Kendras and subjects offered under Indian knowledge Tradition.

It was also conveyed by her that a curriculum called ‘Aarambhika’ is being developed by NIOS for catering the Indian Diaspora.

A documentary based on the journey of 33 years of educational endeavours of NIOS was presented on the occasion. In this documentary, ‘All England Badminton winner Pullela Gopichand said that most of the players in his badminton academy are getting education from NIOS.

NIOS alumni, Ms. Niranjana and Vinod Kumar Chaudhary, were also felicitated on the occasion. Vinod Kumar said that only due to his education in NIOS, he was able to get the credit of making Guinness Book of World Records 10 times (8 in Typing and 2 in sports). A proud learner of NIOS, Ms Niranjana is a successful ventriloquist. Prof. N. K. Ambasht, former Chairman, NIOS said that in this age of technology, innovations must lead to develop ‘standalone’ courses for Indian Diaspora, to achieve the goals of the National Education Policy- 2020. Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sushma Yadav said that the role of NIOS increases in the light of New Education Policy. NIOS has such potential that the institute will be able to achieve the ambitious goals of National Education Policy-2020 in the coming years.

उदित वाणी, जमशेदपुर: राष्ट्रीय धातुकर्म प्रयोगशाला (एनएमएल) जमशेदपुर का 73 वां स्थापना दिवस 26 नवम्बर को संस्थान परिसर में आयोजित किया जाएगा. आईआईटी पटना के निदेशक प्रोफेसर टीएन सिंह इस समारोह के मुख्य अतिथि होंगे. मौके पर संस्थान के प्रभारी निदेशक डॉ.एके श्रीवास्तव भी मौजूद रहेंगे. समारोह में संस्थान के वैज्ञानिकों को पुरस्कृत किया जाएगा.

इस प्रयोगशाला की स्थापना 26 नवम्बर 1950 को देश के पहले प्रधानमंत्री पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू ने की थी. नेहरू इन प्रयोगशाला को आधुनिक भारत के मंदिर कहा करते थे. पिछले 73 साल में इस प्रयोगशाला ने देश के विकास में उल्लेखनीय भूमिका निभाई है. प्रयोगशाला की विकसित तकनीक को देश ही नहीं दुनिया भर में पहचान मिली है.

वैज्ञानिकों के शोध का लोहा अमेरिका ने माना

इस प्रयोगशाला के वैज्ञानिकों के शोध का लोहा अमेरिका तक ने माना है. अमेरिकन सोसायटी ऑफ मेटलर्जी (एएसएम) ने दिल्ली के कुतुबमीनार परिसर स्थित लौह स्तंभ की संरचना पर किए गए एनएमएल के शोध को न केवल मान्यता दी है, बल्कि इस संरचना को धातुकर्म का ऐसा बेजोड़ नमूना माना है, जो भारत के धातु ज्ञान की समृद्धि को दर्शाता है. पूरी तरह जंगमुक्त यह लौह स्तंभ भारत के धातु विज्ञानियों के लिए कौतूहल का विषय था. 1963 में एनएमएल के दो वैज्ञानिक डॉ एके लाहिड़ी और डॉ एमके घोष ने इस लौह अयस्क का सैंपल (नमूना) लेकर इसका अध्ययन किया.

अध्ययन में यह बात सामने आई कि 1600 वर्ष पूर्व भारत का धातु विज्ञान कितना उन्नत था. शोध में पता चला कि इसका निर्माण फोर्जिंग तकनीक से हुआ था. यह शोध उस समय के एक जर्नल में प्रकाशित हुआ तो बीएचयू (वाराणसी) के धातु विज्ञानी डॉ अनंत रमण और आईआईटी कानपुर के डॉ आर बाला सुब्रह्मण्यम ने लौह स्तंभ पर और विस्तार से शोध किया. डॉ सुब्रह्मण्यम की शोध में यह बात सामने आई कि स्तंभ को सुरक्षित रखने के लिए उसके ऊपर मिसाविट नाम के रसायन की पतली परत चढ़ाई गई थी, जो लोहे, ऑक्सीजन और हाइड्रोजन के मिश्रण से तैयार की गई थी.

ताजमहल की सफेदी लौटाई तो ई कचरे से सोना निकाला

तकनीक के क्षेत्र में एनएमएल जमशेदपुर की भूमिका अहम रही है. इस संस्थान के वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा विकसित स्मोक लेस चूल्हा कूपोला ने आगरा के ताजमहल की सफेदी लौटाई. आगरा के आसपास स्थित कांसा और तांबा उद्योग से निकलने वाले धुएं से पीला पड़ते ताजमहल के संगमरमर की सफेदी लौटाने के लिए कूपोला को बनाया.

हावड़ा ब्रिज में इस्तेमाल हुए स्टील को बनाने में एनएमएल की भूमिका रही है. यही नहीं प्रयोगशाला ने ग्रीन टेक्नोलॉजी को विकसित कर दुनिया भर में अपना नाम रोशन किया है. विशेष रूप से इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वेस्ट की रिसाइक्लिंग को लेकर विकसित तकनीक भारत की कंपनियों के अलावा साउथ कोरिया की कंपनियां इस्तेमाल कर रही हैं. इस तकनीक में मोबाइल से मूल्यवान धातुएं निकालने के साथ ही बैटरी से कोबाल्ट जैसी धातु निकालने की तकनीक भी शामिल है. लिथियम, मैग्नीज और निकेल जैसी धातुएं भी निकाली जा रही हैं.

गोलमुरी में आयोजित एक समारोह में झारखंड सर्किल के चीफ जेनरल मैनेजर (सीजीएम) केके सिंह, प्रिंसिपल जेनरल मैनेजर (झारखंड सर्किल) संजय कुमार और बीएसएनएल जमशेदपुर के जीएम दशरथ महतो ने वैसे वेंडरों (टीआईपी) को सम्मानित किया, जिन्होंने एफटीटीएच (फाइबर टू द होम) कनेक्शन में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन किया है.

सीजीएम केके सिंह ने बताया कि फाइबर कनेक्शन में जमशेदपुर, झारखंड में नंबर वन है. बीएसएनएल फाइबर कनेक्शन को ग्राहकों तक पहुंचाने के लिए ऐसे मॉडल पर काम कर रहा है, जिसमें विभाग अपने वेंडरों के साथ मिलकर काम कर रहा है. इसके लिए राजस्व का एक मॉडल बनाया गया है, जिसमें प्राइवेट वेंडरों को कनेक्शन देने के लिए अधिकृत किया जाता है.

उन्होंने बताया कि झारखंड में जमशेदपुर एसएसए ने बेहतरीन काम किया है. कई ऐसे वेंडर्स हैं, जो एक हजार कनेक्शन वाले क्लब में शामिल हो गये हैं. हमारा जोर शहरों के साथ ही गावों में भी फाइबर कनेक्शन पहुंचाना है ताकि ग्रामीण भारत भी डेटा के मामले में समृद्ध और मजबूत हो सके.

सीजीएम ने बताया कि गांवों में हम भारत नेट के जरिए फाइबर का कनेक्शन दे रहे हैं. केके सिंह ने बताया कि फाइबर सेवा को अबाध जारी रखने के लिए 24 घंटे चलने वाले कमांड सेंटर को चालू किया गया है ताकि ग्राहकों की समस्या का तुरंत समाधान हो सके.

एक हजार से ज्यादा कनेक्शन के लिए एसबीपी इंटरप्राइजेज को मिला

बीएसएनएल डे पर एसबीपी इंटरप्राइजेज को एक हजार से ज्यादा फाइबर कनेक्शन देने के लिए सम्मानित किया गया. एसबीपी एकमात्र वेंडर था, जिसने एक हजार से ज्यादा कनेक्शन दिया है. इनके अलावा इन वेंडरों को भी सम्मानित किया गया. नाम हैं-टेक सर्विसेस, वास्तव इंडस्ट्रीज, स्काई स्टार बीबी, शंकर इंफोटेक, जायसवाल विजन, आईटी केअर, गोब्लिन नेटवर्क, सीएम इंटरप्राइजेज, ईएई, नेटस्टॉर्म, आदित्यपुर यूटिलिटी, सुपस्काई, आहूजा, निशांत, आरजी गुप्ता और चौधरी इंटरप्राइजेज. इसी तरह ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में वेंडर्स एसके इंटरप्राइजेज, ऑन्को टेक्नोलॉजी, मिलान इंटरप्राइजेज, नूरोद्दिन, सौम्या केबल और बहरागोड़ा केबल.
