										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="color: #800080;"><strong>UditVani, Jamshedpur:</strong></span> The valedictory session of the 15th Two-Day National Symposium on Ancient Indian Science and Technology concluded on a high note at National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, marking the successful culmination of a thought-provoking academic gathering.</p>
<p>The symposium was jointly organized by the Centre for Indian Knowledge System at NIT Jamshedpur and the Bharatiya Paramparik Gyan Vigyan Samaj (BPGVS).</p>
<p>The programme commenced with a welcome address by Prof. Ram Vinay Sharma, Chairperson of the Centre for Indian Knowledge System and Deputy Director of NIT Jamshedpur.</p>
<p>The session featured a series of insightful lectures emphasizing the contemporary relevance of India’s traditional knowledge systems.</p>
<p>K. E. N. Raghavan highlighted the scientific, ecological, and cultural significance of cow-based practices, while Sohani Banerjee explored the integration of Indian Knowledge Systems with Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies.</p>
<p>Adding further depth, Premlata Devi elaborated on the scientific richness and modern-day applicability of ancient Indian science.</p>
<p>In the concluding session, Dr. Om Prakash Pandey spoke on the interconnected concepts of Gyan, Vigyan, and Pragyan, underlining their role in holistic human development. Prof. Debi Prasad Mishra, Founder President of BPGVS and former Director of NITTTR Kolkata, reinforced these ideas and shared insights into the “Shikshak Bano Abhiyan.”</p>
<p>The Chief Guest, Dr. Narendra Kumar, offered perspectives on Jyotish, while Prof. Rakesh Sahgal emphasized the need to integrate Sanskrit into contemporary education systems. Prof. Goutam Sutradhar, Director of NIT Jamshedpur, expressed gratitude to all participants and contributors for making the event a success.</p>
<p>The ceremony witnessed the presence of the First Lady of the Institute, Indrani Sutradhar, along with several distinguished faculty members, staff, and students.</p>
<p>The session concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Jitendra Kumar, who acknowledged the efforts of organizers and contributors, including Prof. Shailendra Kumar, Dr. Ratnesh Mishra, Dr. Kaushlendra, and Dr. Ashok Mandal. The event was smoothly anchored by Dr. Manish Kumar Jha.</p>
<p>The symposium stood out as a meaningful initiative aimed at bridging ancient Indian wisdom with modern scientific advancements, fostering a vision for sustainable and inclusive development.</p>
